Arbitration

In Binding Arbitration, an independent neutral arbitrator hears and examines the facts of a Property tax Appeal and makes a decision that is binding on both parties. After hearing evidence from both parties, the arbitrator renders an "award" that is enforceable by law and may only be appealed as provided by Civil Practices and Remedies Code §171.088. The hearing is much like an appearance before a judge, and the rules of evidence are very strict. Failure to adhere to these rules can destroy your case. It is wise to engage a experienced professional to represent you at an Arbitration hearing.  If you are considering binding arbitration, please give us a call at 512-630-6162.
