As Property Tax Consultants, we are licensed to represent our clients in the
entire Property Tax Protest. From the "Notice of Protest" form to the Informal
hearing and the Formal hearing if necessary. We also represent our clients at

Texas Department of Licensing
and Regulation. Our job is to:
1. Initial Consultations - We will meet with you, either by phone or
in person, at our offices for a FREE initial consultation. We will review your
tax situation and offer our opinion as to whether you should go forward with
your protest or not.
2. File your Protest. We will file your protest in a timely manner, in
most cases this is prior to May 31 to insure that your case will be heard.
3. Build your Case. We will research your tax situation by utilizing
both public records and proprietary data bases. We will research comparable
sales, the history of land values and other items that my contribute to
your case.
4. Represent you. We will represent you in your Property Tax Protest
at the County Appraisal District (CAD) and the Appraisal Review Board (ARB).
Every case is unique, and so is every protest hearing. We will present your case
in a professional manner and do our best to provide you with a favorable
outcome.
5. Arbitration. .If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your
case, we can represent you at Binding Arbitration as well.
In Binding Arbitration, an independent neutral arbitrator hears and examines
the facts of a Property tax Appeal and makes a decision that is binding on both
parties. After hearing evidence from both parties, the arbitrator renders an
"award" that is enforceable by law and may only be appealed as provided by Civil
Practices and Remedies Code §171.088. The hearing is
much like an appearance before a judge, and the rules of evidence are very
strict. Failure to adhere to these rules can destroy your case. It is wise to
engage a experienced professional to represent you at an Arbitration hearing.
