Do It Yourself

Please Note: Since the filing deadline is so close, please call our office BEFORE ordering a Tax Kit. 512-246-6161.

Your $49.95 Kit will contain:

1.    Notice of Protest Form - This is a form you need to send to the Central Appraisal District (CAD) in your county.

2.    HB201 Request - This is a request for all the data the CAD will use to make their request. They are required by law to make this available to you, but only if you request it.

3.    How to Protest your taxes- A document that tells you how to make your case and present your evidence in it's best light to the appraiser and Appraisal Review Board (ARB).

4.    Comparable Sales -  We will provide you with the actual MLS records of the comparable sales in your area. These will be the basis for your presentation to the CAD.

Your kit will give you the tools and support documentation you will need to present your case.

What we need from you: All we need is the address and a full description of your property. We will take it from there. You will get your kit in 10 days or less. We need this time because our research is done by real people and not just a computer. However, if you need expedited service, we can provide it for an additional charge.

If you decide to use our personal service to represent you after you receive your kit, we will credit you the price of the Kit toward our regular fee!
